What was so cool about this cabin is that it was the only one. It's not in a row of other cabins or at a campground somewhere. It is owned by a couple who have a farm and a bunch of land and thought it would be fun to put a vacation spot up at the edge of their creek. The craftsmanship that went into this little cabin was so cool. Every little detail was thought of. They even had a claw foot tub and a shower made out of a tin bucket-- the kids really enjoyed that! So ya, there wasn't anyone else around. Sure it's pretty flat around there so you could see other farms and homes in the distance. But it was really peaceful and a joy to get out of the chaos of the world and enjoy some Wisconsin wildlife for a few days :)
